[Halld] Invitation to join Hall D Proposal on J/Psi Production on He-4

Dear GlueX and Hall D colleagues,

I write to invite you to sign on to a Hall D proposal that I and others are preparing for this year's PAC:

"Threshold J/ψ Photoproduction as a Probe of Nuclear Gluon Structure"

It's derived from our proposal last year, on to which many of you signed. A link to this year's draft can be found here:

In this experiment, we plan to study, among several reactions, J/Psi production from protons bound in Helium-4. Our group has analyzed this reaction in the 2021 Short-Range Correlations / Color-Transparency Experiment (E12-19-003), and our results were recently accepted to PRL as an editor's suggestion. They will be published in a few weeks, but until then, the preprint is on the arXiv: https://arxiv.org/abs/2409.18463. We are quite excited about what we might learn from a longer experiment.
