Hi Richard,

<div class=""> Documentation is scarce. The SQLite file itself is maintained in the subversion repository along with all of the</div>

<div class="">You may want to look at the hd_tt_tool.py script and the halld_tt.py python module it uses. The script that</div>

<div class="">There is a wiki page that needs some updating but gives you some introduction here:</div>

<div class="">What is this thing you call "the SQLite DB"? I know of a SQLite export of the CCDB, and I have heard of a SQLite export of RCDB that might be possible. Is this a third SQLite DB?</div>

<div class="">It sounds like you are describing a re-formatting of the TT xml file contents as a relational database table, and then exporting this table to SQLite? I have never heard of or worked with this relDB rendering of the TT document. As someone who
updates the TT record in ccdb from time to time, it sounds like I need to know what you are talking about here. The xml document is the only thing I have ever worked with. Is there a HOWTO on this?</div>

Hi All,<br class="">
<br class="">
This is a head’s up that I just added a new translation table entry to the CCDB that includes<br class="">
all of the DIRC channels as provided by Justin. This is significant for a couple of reasons.<br class="">
One of them being that the DIRC increases the channel count from ~23k to ~37k. <br class="">
<br class="">
The other is that the procedure used to produce the XML file is somewhat new. It was generated<br class="">
from the SQLite DB file that has been updated to include run range information. The DB file<br class="">
was first updated by mining data from the CCDB, then the DIRC channels were added, then
<br class="">
the XML file was generated and inserted into the CCDB. Note that ALL future changes to the TT<br class="">
should be done in the SQLite DB first and the XML then generated from that. Please contact me
<br class="">
if you need help with this.<br class="">
<br class="">
Both Justin and I have done some testing and it seems the new TT does not break anything.<br class="">
It is marked as valid only for runs >=60000 in the CCDB so people generally will not be<br class="">
affected by it until they start processing files from the upcoming RunPeriod-2019-01 data set.<br class="">
<br class="">
Thanks to Justin for doing a lot of the heavy lifting on getting all of the DIRC channels into the tt.db<br class="">
<br class="">
<br class="">
