<div dir="ltr">Hello David,<div><br></div><div>What is this thing you call "the SQLite DB"? I know of a SQLite export of the CCDB, and I have heard of a SQLite export of RCDB that might be possible. Is this a third SQLite DB?</div><div><br></div><div>It sounds like you are describing a re-formatting of the TT xml file contents as a relational database table, and then exporting this table to SQLite? I have never heard of or worked with this relDB rendering of the TT document. As someone who updates the TT record in ccdb from time to time, it sounds like I need to know what you are talking about here. The xml document is the only thing I have ever worked with. Is there a HOWTO on this?</div><div><br></div><div>-Richard Jones</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Fri, Jan 4, 2019 at 1:52 PM David Lawrence <<a href="mailto:davidl@jlab.org">davidl@jlab.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">Hi All,<br>
<br>
This is a head’s up that I just added a new translation table entry to the CCDB that includes<br>
all of the DIRC channels as provided by Justin. This is significant for a couple of reasons.<br>
One of them being that the DIRC increases the channel count from ~23k to ~37k. <br>
<br>
The other is that the procedure used to produce the XML file is somewhat new. It was generated<br>
from the SQLite DB file that has been updated to include run range information. The DB file<br>
was first updated by mining data from the CCDB, then the DIRC channels were added, then <br>
the XML file was generated and inserted into the CCDB. Note that ALL future changes to the TT<br>
should be done in the SQLite DB first and the XML then generated from that. Please contact me <br>
if you need help with this.<br>
<br>
Both Justin and I have done some testing and it seems the new TT does not break anything.<br>
It is marked as valid only for runs >=60000 in the CCDB so people generally will not be<br>
affected by it until they start processing files from the upcoming RunPeriod-2019-01 data set.<br>
<br>
Thanks to Justin for doing a lot of the heavy lifting on getting all of the DIRC channels into the tt.db<br>
<br>
<br>
Regards,<br>
