Yesterday's Day shift went smoothly. However, on the Swing shift, around 8 pm, we stopped receiving beam. It was originally thought that it was an
<a title="https://ace.jlab.org/dtm/open-events?event_id=21768" id="LPlnk165863" href="https://ace.jlab.org/dtm/open-events?event_id=21768">
earth leak,</a> but MCC now believes it is an oscillation fault. They will try to run some diagnostic tests, but there will be no intrusive actions that will stop Hall A from receiving beam. Since Hall A will go off on Monday, they are a priority. It is likely
that to fix the issue, MCC will need "a solid day of work", and it will require moving heavy equipment. Because of these reasons, we do not expect to have beam back to the hall at least until Monday. This means that
<b>tomorrow's High Current Scan</b> will be postponed.</div>
