This workshop is aimed at
graduate students and others who are in the early stages of analyzing
GlueX data, with the goal of understanding how the kinematic fitter
works and how to evaluate its performance in the context of a GlueX
analysis.

This workshop will have two parts: 2 hours of pedagogical lectures in
the morning, and then the afternoon will be dedicated to a series of
guided hands-on exercises.

There is no charge for this workshop, and it is open to all GlueX
members (current or prospective), but to help with planning we request
that anyone who is interested in attending add their name to the
following section in the workshop wiki page:
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Kinematic_Fitting_Workshop_2021#Registration

The sessions will be recorded, and the exercises and software tools
kept available at JLab and GitHub for future use. The hope is that
this will provide a common starting point for future kinematic fit
studies in GlueX.
