[Hps-analysis] MC Signal + Data Background

I tried out a procedure for mixing MC signal events and pulser data as a background, with apparent success.


Some tritrig+data samples are here (DSTs also available):

/mss/hallb/hps/production/postTriSummitFixes/recon/tritrig-DataBG/1pt05/tritrigv1_10to1_pulserDATA_20kEvents_*


Each event contains a pure tritrig event readout from a pair1 trigger, merged with a readout event from 2015 pulser data (run 5774), and then reconstructed. ~16k events per file.


For example, here are individual ECal cluster energies from pure tritrig MC (pair1), and the same amount mixed with data events:

Please try them out and let me know of any issues with the procedure.

I can do this with any other MC signal as well.
