[Hps-analysis] Beam position @ target

Sure, I'm actually in the process.

Here are the x, y and z-vertex positions before and after the rotationFix (BSC_MollerCandidates).

The fix appears to shift the x-position back toward the origin by ~74.32 microns, but the beamspot is still centered at -71.38 microns:

Old Vtx_x:

Fixed Vtx_x:

[cid:50dff075-b9c3-4cc1-a874-abde00ceb71c]

The Vtx_z appears to be shifted more toward -3.8mm instead of -5.0mm:

Most other distributions that I checked look the same.

Subject: Beam position @ target

Hello All,

I think it would be useful to analyze our MC Møller samples from before and after the rotation fix. This would provide us with an estimate of our sensitivity in determining the target z position, the beam position at the target and the beam direction at the target. It would also expose any systematics in our current methodologies.

Sebouh, Bradley, would either of you be willing and able to do this?

Norman
