Hi All,

I’ve mentioned this a bunch of times in meetings, but in case you missed it, we will have a recon/analysis workshop on May 2-3. The goals are to (A) check where we are with data readiness (e.g. alignment) and (B) kickstart the physics analyses.

I’ve started to put together an indico page for this with a very rough agenda here:

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__indico.slac.stanford.edu_event_7201&d=DwIF-g&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=JaSEOiNc_6InrJmbYDvKU2tZqhhONpIkbyl_AUnkDSY&m=EusBsul9DD3tarTQ4imjPePkUurvUeYA3QIQovXfEF7v8ogxgMDhapo9iMk0TKL1&s=T_VJH3tYpTPxpMVaYlhNflcx6ofbLTf3H4LneKB88wA&e=

The plan is to go from 8am-noon both days so as not to get overwhelmed and Europeans can join in.

I will also set up a confluence page for this for things like common data & MC samples for us to use for studies and as a clearinghouse for plots files and whatnot. I’ll send it out when I set it up.

I think we should run some reconstruction on data using the current best alignment + conditions (HPS_Run2021Pass2FEE ???). We should pick one, good, run where we run this over all files (Rafo?). Also, we should generate some trident/A’ MC with these as well (Tongtong?).

Thanks, Matt
