[Hps-controls] HPS controls meeting, Tuesday October 15, 2013

Hi,

I  attached a PDF file with the cost estimate for an 
Allen-Bradley-PLC-based
interlock system. The cost includes the material costs based on the 
previous
JLab PRs, quotes, and online catalogs, it is not an actual quote. The 
material cost for the
modules for such an interlock system would be ~$6K. There is also some 
additional uncertainty
since we do not yet precisely know how the future chiller can be 
interlocked.
Note that this configuration will also give us a bunch of spare 
analog/digital inputs,
thermocouple channels, and  probably a few extra outputs.

I also added a line for additional thermocouple input modules for 18 
channels since it was
mentioned at the meeting. We do not need those for the interlocks.
