Hi,
the status of the LED boards is the following:

- 1 driver will be delivered next week. As soon as I get the driver,
I'll test it, to check that the modifications we implemented are fine.
If so, the other drivers will be mounted (PCB have been already
produced, but the components have not yet been soldered).
- I am waiting for the status of the connection board. The order was
placed some time ago (~ weeks).
- I am waiting also for the status of the controllers. The manufacturing
company will tell me something tomorrow.

Unfortunately, it seems that Easter holidays delayed the production..

As requested by John, I am giving an update of the LED system on Wednesday.
I was planning to show and discuss the slides today at the Ecal meeting,
so please find them attached (still in a preliminary form)
I can implement comments and suggestions before Wednesday, 2PM, Europe
time (8 AM JLab time).

In particular, there are two points that are important to discuss among us:

- The expected dose rate for the ECAL (EM and neutrons), that is
important to estimate if there is any radiation damage to the LEDs.
Here I do not have any guess.

  - The way the LED system will be used during commissioning and during
the run. I wrote some ideas in the slides, please look them and see if they look reasonable.

Regards

Andrea
