[Hps] HPS Installed!

Good news! We successfully installed HPS for parasitic running with HDice during a (very) long day in Hall B yesterday. This came after an intense week of preparations here at Jlab by the Ecal, SVT, and DAQ teams.

More work will be required to finish connecting the Ecal DAQ, add cooling to the SVT, and commission the SVT DAQ, but a tremendous amount of work was accomplished, and we are in, ready to take beams.

Kudos to all those who worked so hard to make this a success: FX, Stepan, Sergey, Tim, Ryan, Takashi, Hovanes, Marco, Pelle, Sho, Camille, Omar, Homer, and the Hall B crew (Doug Tilles, Denny Insley, Krister Bruhwel, and more).

Because HDice suffered a thermal accident Wednesday evening, resulting in a loss of about half the target polarization, they are scheduling accesses Sunday-Tuesday to swap targets. This time will be very useful for HPS as we bring the experiment into a working state.
