UCLA Dark Matter 2014
The eleventh symposium for Sources and Detection of Dark Matter and Dark
Energy in the Universe will be held Wednesday February 26 through Friday
February 28, 2014. The agenda for the meeting is being planned and
contributed talks are being accepted at this time. Requests to give a
presentation can be accompanied by an abstract, which can be submitted
online. You may review proposed scientific topics, submit an abstract,
and keep up with the latest news about UCLA Dark Matter 2014 at the
newly-launched conference website:

The 2013 Villa Olmo ICATPP Conference (Deadline extension)
The 14th ICATPP Conference on Astroparticle, Particle, Space Physics and
Detectors for Physics Applications Experimental particle physics,
detection of astrophysical sources and cosmic rays as tools for probing
the contents of the Universe wil be held at Villa Olmo, Como, Italy, on
23-27 September 2013.
http://villaolmo.mib.infn.it/home
The deadline for abstract submission for oral presentations is July 28,
2013. The deadline for abstract submission for posters is August 26,
2013.
The conference will be dedicated to discussions on observations and
results obtained in particle physics experiments at accelerators,
underground laboratories, submarine facilities and in cosmic ray physics
in the energy range from sub-GeV up to TeV and beyond, and their
implications for fundamental physics, i.e., particle physics,
astroparticle physics and cosmology.
Among the topics covered are new results -- and surveys of theoretical
models - from particle physics experiments at accelerator laboratories,
space-based and terrestrial astroparticle experiments, including searches
for dark matter and double beta-decay, a better understanding of the
production of ordinary and/or exotic matter, propagation of cosmic rays in
the Galaxy and within the solar system, processes inducing trapped
particles inside the Earth magnetosphere and their effects, space
environment - including Earth magnetosphere and Heliosphere and
Solar-Terrestrial physics. The conference will also cover topics of
physics and
physics requirements on new advanced detectors, applications of simulation
codes, detectors for high -energy physics and space environment. It will
also include presentations of the performance of detectors employed (or to
be employed) in experiments for particle physics, astroparticle physics,
astrophysics research and in space environment. Presentations include the
following subjects: advances in particles physics from accelerator
laboratories, advanced detectors, present and next generation of ground
and space experiments, dark matter, double-beta decay, high-energy
astrophysics, space environment, trapped particles, propagation of cosmic
rays in the Earth magnetosphere, Heliosphere and Galaxy.
The conference is aimed to promote contacts and exchanges among scientists
involved in Solar-Terrestrial physics, space physics, particle physics,
astroparticle physics and cosmology both from the theoretical and the
experimental approach.

The EINN 2013 conference
The 10th European Research Conference on Electromagnetic Interactions with
Nucleons and Nuclei (EINN 2013) will be held on Oct. 29 - Nov. 02, 2013 in
Paphos, Cyprus. The conference on "Electromagnetic Interactions with
Nucleons and Nuclei (EINN)" has been organized on Santorini and Milos
Islands in Greece every other year since 1995. The conference series
covers experimental and theoretical topics in the areas of nuclear and
hadronic physics. It also serves as a forum for contacts and discussions
of current and future developments in our field. The conference has
unofficially been a counterpart of the US Gordon Conference on
photonuclear physics, held in alternate years and with traditionally a
strong US participation. No proceedings will be produced, in the
tradition of Gordon and Euroconferences, in order to encourage the frank
exchange of even tentative information.
In 2011 the conference series was moved to Paphos, Cyprus where it will
be held again in 2013. In this years format, the day preceding the
official start of the conference (Oct. 28, 2013) will be dedicated to
pedagogical lectures that would offer the younger audience and non-expert
participants a scientific background to help them better enjoy and
benefit from the more technical talks of the conference.

The scientific program of the EINN 2013 conference will review new
results and
developments in the following areas,
· Nucleon form factors and low-energy hadron structure
· Partonic structure of nucleons and nuclei
· Precision electroweak physics with searches for dark photons
· Meson structure
· Baryon and light-meson spectroscopy
· Nuclear effects and few-body physics
In this year's edition, there will also be topical parallel sessions on
two timely subjects:
a) Proton radius puzzle
b) Photon-photon physics and its implication for the muon's (g-2)
The planned time table of the scientific program is posted at:
