Dear HPS Collaborators,

I would like to call your attention to a new postdoctoral position at SLAC in accelerator searches for dark forces and light dark matter.
https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/7481

The focus of the position is ongoing analysis of data from and upgrade of the silicon tracker for the HPS experiment, a search for a dark sector vector boson that operates in Hall B at JLab:
https://confluence.slac.stanford.edu/display/hpsg/Heavy+Photon+Search+Experiment

as well as the development of the proposed LDMX experiment envisioned to operate at the DASEL beam line at SLAC:
https://confluence.slac.stanford.edu/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=210534721

These experiments afford the rare opportunity to develop, design, execute and analyze data from small, high-impact experiments in HEP. Because of the all-encompassing nature of the work, the position favors candidates that are strong in multiple areas; from hardware, to software development, to analysis. If you know of any candidates that seem well suited to this position, please encourage them to apply.

Best,
Tim Nelson
