[Hps] HPS welcomes Miram Diamond

Dear HPS,

We are happy to announce that the EC has voted unanimously to approve Miriam Diamond for membership in the HPS collaboration.
Miriam will be a SLAC HPS RA come April, 2017. She is presently finishing up her ATLAS thesis on searches for hidden sector physics at the University of Toronto. 

Earlier, she had worked with Philip Schuster on hidden sector phenomenology, excluding A' parameter space according to the results of the SLAC millicharge experiment. She is an expert in analysis, dark sector physics, and tracking. She will concentrate on those same areas when she arrives at SLAC. She will also be tasked, like the rest of us, to support the SVT operations and the 2018 run. She'll begin by devoting all of her time on HPS, but as we make headway with the vertex analysis and publications, will begin devoting some of her time to LDMX. We feel very lucky to get her as does SLAC.
