Dear HPS,

We learned earlier this week that our colleague Norman Graf suffered a heart attack on Monday and has been hospitalized since.

His wife wrote last night that Norman is doing much better, has been moved from ICU to a recovery wing at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. We are very pleased to learn that he is comfortable and animated in discussion, remembering everything that 
transpired, and on the mend.

I'm sure all HPS sends its VERY best wishes for his speedy recovery.
