[Hps] SWIF Command-Line Feature Change

Greetings SWIF users,

Please spare a moment of your time to comment on the following:

Currently the swif command-line displays results in an unstructured format, though you can choose to display in JSON or XML.  I would like to change this behavior to *only* generate JSON.  While working on some new features, I've found that supporting multiple output formats at the server side necessarily constrains the depth of information returned.

Would such a change negatively affect your work?
