[Hps] [Jlab-scicomp-briefs] JLAB Scientific Computing Power Outage - Saturday, May 4th 2019 7am - 8pm

Dear All,

The batch farm and HPC clusters will be unavailable this Saturday, May 4th to accommodate scheduled power work in CEBAF Center. The tape library will also be offline at that time. Machines will shut down starting at 6:00 am and will remain down until the work has been completed.

Central servers will remain online through the maintenance window. File servers, including /work, /cache, and /volatile will be available except for a 10 minute network interruption early in the day.

There is some possibility that the outage will be postponed until Sunday in case of inclement weather impacting the work. Should this happen we will update the web status pages with the new times.
