Hi Andrea
It is great that you can sign-up for a block.
Block margins are defined by Institute assignments. Since all the extension shifts are marked “Volunteer”, the margins are not visible.
Ideally signing up for 5 days would be the way to proceed, however the most important thing is to find full coverage, so if 4/5 works better for you then please feel free.
Anyone who wishes to be added to the schedule should drop me an email with their preferred shifts and dates. I will add them.
I do plan to open the interface such that anyone can add their own name to a “Volunteer” block themselves without me doing in manually. I simply did not have time to implement that feature when adding the new dates yesterday.
As always, any problems or issues just drop me an email and I will be happy to help.
Cheers
Bryan

Hi Stepan,
I can definitively sign up for a block. However, I see there are no "block margins", i.e. no pre-arrenged groups of shifts.
Should I sign up for 5 subsequent days, counting in block of 5 days from the extension start? Or evem a block of 4/5 days in the middle, not counting for the 5 days modulus, is ok?
Thanks
Andrea

Oggetto: [Hps] Run extension and shifts: VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
Dear all,
The summer run for Halls A and B has been extended for 3 weeks, till September 9, ~8am. This is a great news for HPS as we are now in full production mode, taking production data for more than a week now and with this extension we are well positioned to collect more than the half of originally projected data for this run despite many difficulties we encountered. But, in order to take advantage of the extension we need to man the counting house (shifters) and experts on call phones.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
Thanks to Bryan, he already crated the shift schedule, extending HPS shifts to September 9. Shifts for August 22 to September 9 marked as "volunteer". So please, take a look on your calendars and sign up for shifts as soon as possible. You can email Bryan if you will have any difficulties in signing up.
Regards, Stepan
