Hello, everyone:

The Software Working Group of the EIC User Group is continuing its EIC Software Tutorials:

On August 17-20, experts in Monte Carlo Event Generators (MCEGs) will introduce DIS simulations in the general-purpose MCEGs Herwig, Pythia, and Sherpa as well as the Rivet tool for MC-data comparisons:

August 17   Pythia 8 by Stefan Prestel (LUND)
August 18   MC-data comparisons with Rivet by Christian Bierlich (LUND)
August 19   Herwig 7 by Simon Plätzer (Vienna)
August 20   Sherpa 2 by Stefan Hoeche (FNAL)

We will provide instructions for the tutorials and the connection details on:
