Dear HPS,
I want to thank and congratulate everyone on the incredibly hard work put in to support the HPS run to collect a really fine dataset. Although it has been a difficult year, it has been a good one for our experiment.
I hope you have all enjoyed a slower pace after the run, even those of you who have continued to be busy with CLAS operations, and that you all are able to enjoy a relaxing holiday break with family. In recent weeks we have forgone our general weekly meeting while our smaller working meetings have been the focus of a lot of activity as we build up our offline and analysis efforts again. In the new year, beginning with Wed. Jan 5, we’ll start up the Wednesday general weekly meetings again and begin to have regular progress reports on the major efforts, where I believe there are already interesting things to report in each area: analysis, reconstruction, Monte Carlo, and work on the detector systems. We will kick off on Jan. 5 with presentations from folks working on reconstruction and rotate among these groups going forward.
Happy Holidays and All the Best,
Tim
