[Hps] [EXTERNAL] URGENT: HPS EC Election - vote now! - VOTING EXTENDED

Dear HPS Collaborators,

After the extended voting period, we increased participation by more than 50%. Thanks to all who voted!  The totals remain very close, but we do have a clear result, and the new EC members will be Tongtong and Lauren.  Meanwhile, as those who attended the meeting will know, we had a long and lively discussion at the collaboration meeting regarding the desire to have an early career representative on the EC, where I think the close results provide somewhat of a mandate around this idea.  The EC will take up this proposal when we meet next week.
