[Hps] [EXTERNAL] positions in dark sectors (HPS/LDMX) at SLAC

Dear Collaborators,

SLAC has just posted two positions in dark sectors group at SLAC to work on HPS and LDMX.  The first search is for a postdoctoral Research Associate, a term position for 2-5 years,

and the second is for an Associate Staff Scientist, a term position with review after 3-5 years for possible appointment to full Staff Scientist, similar to a junior faculty position,

HPS has quite a bit of data in the can and under analysis, with further running scheduled in 2025/2026, while (as you know) LDMX is under development and expects to begin construction in 2027, so there is data to analyze now and the full range of experimental activities in the pipeline, where these experiments afford the rare opportunity to develop, design, execute and analyze data from small, high-impact experiments. Because of the all-encompassing nature of the work, the position favors candidates that are strong in multiple areas; from hardware, to software development, to analysis.
