[Hps] [Jlab-scicomp-briefs] Reminder: Jefferson Lab Tape Library Scheduled Outage this week

A reminder of this week's tape library work:


  *   The Tape Library will be out of service Tuesday Jan 2nd  until Monday, Jan 8th. The library will be modified to add additional tape drive expansion room and a second robotic accessor. Tape storage tools, including jcache and LQCD srm tools,  will not be available during that time. Farm jobs using SWIF that require files from tape will queue until the library reconfiguration is completed. Farm jobs running from disk will continue to be scheduled.


The data center power work for later this week that will affect compute clusters remains tentative. We will update you once a firm date is known.
