[Hps] [Jlab-scicomp-briefs] Jefferson Lab Data Center Planned Outage for Clusters this Friday, Jan 5 2024

An Outage for Compute Clusters in the JLab data center is scheduled for this Friday, Jan 5, 2024 starting at 6:00am. Reservations have been set for compute systems including the farm and LQCD clusters. Slurm jobs with run times that would extend past 6:00am Friday will be held in the queue until after the outage.

File servers and central services will not be affected by this work. We anticipate clusters being online again for the weekend.

This work is being performed to add additional electrical panels and circuits for new hardware.
