Hello HPS Early Career Members*,
Apologies for the short notice, but this survey is a good opportunity to provide input into the European collider physics strategy. The deadline to fill out this short survey is Tomorrow, March 10th at 5 PM, central time. I filled out the form, and it really shouldn't take too long.
**In the following context, Early Career is defined as graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, untenured faculty, and non-tenure track researchers < 40 years of age.

Hi All,
We just wanted to send a reminder to early career folks to please fill out the survey by next Monday (March 10th).
We would really like to get as a large sample as possible representing the views of the US early career community.

Subject: US Early Career Input to the European Particle Physics Strategy Update
Dear Early Career Community,
With the process to update the European Particle Physics Strategy underway, plans for the next collider at CERN are being made. These recommendations will have a significant impact on the careers of US-based high energy physics researchers. We therefore are soliciting input to draft a white paper representing preferences of the early career collider physics community in the US to submit for the ESG’s consideration.
The overall US prioritization process concluded recently with the latest P5 report<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.usparticlephysics.org_2023-2Dp5-2Dreport_&d=DwIGaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=ErLkbYGWd8oSAZ70ywHxhA&m=BFf-vClmrg2useDWrMfqy5RAdAz_fbZMQgYqJImkCoRSPlYdzU4KdXBe0dCM73mP&s=783Yjo294Bz9gplqDNKDji_FyNY_mmo4dmpFBGKAg9c&e= >, however this leaves room for many different collider options at CERN. We therefore intend this whitepaper as a complementary document capturing the preferences of the early career community for different collider options that fit within the vision of the P5 report.
All early career collider physics researchers (graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, untenured faculty, and non-tenure track researchers < 40 years of age) associated with United States institutes are welcome to contribute.
Please fill the following survey by 10th March, 17h US Central time:
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__forms.gle_3CasYEE7SbyqWxE6A&d=DwIGaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=ErLkbYGWd8oSAZ70ywHxhA&m=BFf-vClmrg2useDWrMfqy5RAdAz_fbZMQgYqJImkCoRSPlYdzU4KdXBe0dCM73mP&s=BZkV5htCdVoncheMqGyo_Cgrm46dpYYnuU-KqNMau9w&e=
Within the form please indicate if you would like to be involved in the drafting of the document.
The document and the results of the survey will be presented at the “Discussion of US Early Career Collider Physics Input to the European Strategy Update” meeting, Wednesday, March 26th at 12h US Central time, and in person at Fermilab WH11NE Sunrise:

This is a grass-roots effort, so feedback and engagement are appreciated!
All the best,
Grace Cummings and Oz Amram
