Alikhanyan National Laboratory (Yerevan Physics Institute) and will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, during week of September 24-28, 2018. Conference website is -
http://www.yerphi.am/index.php/correlations-in-partonic-and-hadronic-interactions-2018

The conference will focus on correlations at partonic and hadronic levels, as they play important role in dynamics of forming nucleons (hadrons in general) and nuclei. Worldwide experimental and theoretical efforts are underway to study transverse partonic structure of the nucleons and nuclei, the hadronization process, correlations of partons and hadrons in the nuclear medium, and the spectroscopy of exotic states. The conference will aim to address possible connections of different energy regimes (ranging from JLAB to LHC) in the nucleon and nuclear matter, discuss experimental observables for studies of partonic and nucleon correlations, address various aspects of non-perturbative dynamics of strong interactions. One of goals is to exploit opportunities with the upgraded JLab as a key for future EIC.

A section will be devoted for discussions of searches for dark forces and dark matter using nuclear physics facilities. The latest developments in experimental techniques common for high and low energy nuclear physics will be also discussed along with applications of societal impact and benefit including the production of medical isotopes.

We expect to have key researchers in the field to contribute in the development of a coherent and exciting program, involving wide spectra of Nuclear Physics communities and thereby increasing the international interest and support for the workshop. The following list represents several key topics that will be addressed at the conference:

1) Transverse Structure of nucleon and QCD issues associated with 3D structure
2) Partonic Structure beyond Densities
3) Short range correlations and nuclear dynamics at short distances
4) QCD in the nuclear environment in eA and pA scattering
5) Physics with low energy beams of protons and neutrons
6) New Forces at the GeV-Scale and Dark Matter
7) Essential observables, which will direct the future experimental effort.

Registration for the conference is open. Registration page can be accessed from the conference website above or directly using link below -
http://www.yerphi.am/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=joomla%20template:category&id=179

We encourage you to register as soon as possible since booked accommodations are limited. The weekend after the conference coincides is the celebration of the 2800 years of Yerevan and we expect a large number of visitors. The registration fee is 300 euro for early registration (before July 1st). The fee for late registration is 350 euro.

_______________________________________________
Cuga mailing list
Cuga@jlab.org
https://mailman.jlab.org/mailman/listinfo/cuga
