Dear all,
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">We had very good progress in the past two and a half shifts. After 16-hour long hard work of Michael T. and MCC ops, we got an excellent beam on the target, no tails with y-width ~20 um, right before Hall-C requested beam off for pass change.
Without high current beam in the machine beam width grew to ~45 um, but still very clean. We requested 2 hours effort start pf the Hall-C pass change and were able to go to 0.5 mm position for SVT top and bottom. We even managed to take data with production
trigger and the SVT at 0.5 mm, albite at very low luminosity (more than 10 times less than expected luminosity).</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">All experts, including RC had a very long day, ~24 hours and need rest. We will have today’s RC meeting later than usual time, at
<b class="">4:40 pm.</b></div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Regards, Stepan</div>
