<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Dear HPS,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">As it is Saturday, I am not planning to have our RC meeting this afternoon.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Quick update on the status of the run:</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">After the Wien filter flip in the injector yesterday for Hall-A ,we had quite a lot of difficulty to get quality beam back for HPS. You can follow the play-by-play in the log book, but this represent a considerable amount of time tuning and re-tuning the beam. We are now doing our final SVT scan. We found that after careful focussing of the beam, we now have a very good beam spot @ ~25µm σy. (<a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3714167" class="">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3714167</a>) We are about to turn on the SVT and get setup to continue our production running. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I talked with the PD, and he recognized the difficulty this accelerator change caused us.
