Dear Colleagues,
For evaluation of the counting rate in a case if constraint is imposed by the event trigger, we need to have the ratio
(integrated cross sections for exclusive channel under study)/(inclusive cross section)
These ratio can be taken from web-site:
http://clas.sinp.msu.ru/strfun/
developed by V.Chesnokov. The numbers provided are based on the experimental results from the CLAS on exclusive meson electroproduction cross section stored in the CLAS Physics DB.
1% ratio for KY/(inclusive cross section) assumed by E.Golovach looks consistent with the results from the CLAS experiment. I would suggest for Gleb and Iulia to evaluate Npipi counting rate, based on ratio
(pi^+pi^-p integrated cross section from JM)/(inclusive cross section from the aforementioned web-site)
Best Regards,
Victor

Subject: [Hybrid baryons] DRAFT-2 of LOI
Dear all,
Thank you for supplying me with much valued new graphs and text. I tried
to incorporate this information into the existing draft and have
generated DRAFT-2, which is attached. Obviously, I had to select a few
graphs, but I included most of the text. This new version is now nearly
30 pages long, which is more than enough for a letter-of-intent.
DRAFT-2 has still duplications, and possibly inconsistencies in event
rates, etc, which need to be checked.
Also there are duplications of references which could easily be avoided
if everyone were to use the citation format from
Inspires, which I am using. These citations are unique. If you have sent
me text with citations please replace them with
the Inspires citations (if existing). I am showing below one of our CLAS
papers as it appears in latex as citation in Inspires (after deleting
the commented out (%) lines).
%\cite{Pisano:2015iqa}
\bibitem{Pisano:2015iqa}
S.~Pisano {\it et al.} [CLAS Collaboration],
Phys.\ Rev.\ D {\bf 91}, no. 5, 052014 (2015)
[arXiv:1501.07052 [hep-ex]].
Please keep sending me corrections, comments, etc. before the Friday
meeting, so we have a reasonable DRAFT-3 by the time of the meeting.
Best regards,
Volker
