Folks,
As I mentioned during today’s RG-K meeting, I have posted my KY analysis work based on three 6.5 GeV
runs using very preliminary calibrations. My study focused on reconstructing an electron in the ECAL and
studying the different detection topologies for the e’K+ final state and the e’K+p final state. See the links
under “Ongoing Work” on the RG-K wikipage.

Note that these are the same slides that I circulated just over a week ago to a number of you. I do not
believe that everyone on our mailing list has seen them and they are encouraging. Of course, I still
expect to realize significant improvements in the MM(e’K+) distributions in the upcoming months as
we finalize alignment, optimize calibrations, and finalize momentum corrections.
Anyway, let me know if you have any comments or questions.
Regards,
Daniel
