Dear All,

after talking with Raffaella I
understood the following:

the Farm has been quite slow in the last week because of
several productions in progress (including 20% CPU used for
outreach programs, and HPS using its 10% average hall-B share
concentrated in the last week)

simulation for CLAS is taking only a small fraction of the
farm and is definitely not the cause of the cooking delay

she expects the cooking for clas12 to proceed a little
faster starting from today and suggests to use clas12-4 for
RG-K calibration

to her opinion there is no draw-back in asking for a 10 days
delay of the RG-K Pass 1 Review, especially if we are aware
that the calibration procedure is still missing a number of
proper steps before completion

CCC has not decided any prioritization between RG-K and
RG-B: RG-B review went quite well but RG-B was asked to adjust
a number of issues before receiving he green-light. They are
still calibrating and will need to work for another week
before completing. We are trying to anticipate the same kind
of work before the Review.

Raffaella has agreed to check this afternoon with Dan the
present status of the calibration quality (compared to the
standards achieved by RG-A and RG-B) and will give us a
feedback on where we stand.

I am receiving also the feedback from all the scientists
responsible of the calibration of the various subsystems. Up to
now most of them need to have some file cooked to keep
optimizing the calibration.

I am sending Nick the list of files to be cooked, collecting
the various requests.

I would propose you to ask for the
Review Delay and I am preparing the draft message for Kyungseon
and the CCC, but I will wait for the feedback from Raffaella and
Dan and from you before making the final decision and sending it
out.

Dear All,

please find in the following the main steps we have defined
towards the RG-K pass1 review and the Jeopardy Document:

Pass1 Review

I will shortly convene with Raffaella to clearify:

the status of the farm and the rationale for the hall-b
share to be dominated by CLAS simulations for eg2a

the policy about priorities among activities: should cooling
for calibration have priority on pass1 cooking?

what is her opinion about basing the pass1 review on the
present calibration status on the 20th versus completing all
the foreseen calibration steps and ask for a delay up to may
29th (RG-K vs RG-B priority)

I will send you a recap message to decide weather to ask or
not for a delay

Nick will be asked to fully cook 4 files (or slightly more),
which will be used for both quality check and FTOF calibration

All presenters prepare a draft of their talk by Monday
May18. There will be a meeting at 2:00 pm to review them, and
understand where we are.

Jeopardy Document

All contributors should fill their 1-2 pages part by
Thursday May 21st

We will review the document on Thursday. Please fill the

An analysis note document should be prepared to include
details of the on-going analyses for each of the three
approved experiments

The document will be finally reviewed before submission
during next Friday meeting on May 22nd.
