[Ics-security] Advisory for WenninTech King SCADA

ICS-CERT issued the following advisory yesterday:

ICS-CERT has released the Advisory titled " ICSA-12-129-01 - Wellintech KingSCADA Insecure Password Encryption ", that can be accessed atwww.ics-cert.org  or directly through the following link:

KingSCADA is a general purpose SCADA package that runs in Windows.  Please let me know if you use this product.


One lesson is to consider encrypting at least the files/folders used for 
controls software, if not the whole disk(s).  Before implementing this 
you should test it in a benign set up in order to measure any impact on 
performance.
