Hi Kevin,

 

.        I talked to Dave and he believes that he can get to a 2cm spot
size just with defocusing so no raster. I used 1.6cm as a safety margin. 

.        The gallium length is 10 radiation lengths - 210mm

.        I made the analysis with 12 channels but I couldn't get similar
cross section tube fitting to fit so the model has 6 channels. I can run
an analysis with the 6 channels later it won't be significantly different
- same flow. I would prefer not to straddle two channels as I couldn't be
sure the flow is equal in each.

.        COMSOL v4.3b

.        Total flow is 23 lpm (not 2.3)

 

I hope to give you better numbers tonight.
