Regarding the vacuum window, the company we used for the Be plate in the Mott polarimeter dump is Materion.

They describe their technique and some capabilities for making windows mounted to vacuum quality frames/flanges here:

Of course, none of this works well I think without the purposeful thermal management engineering to ensure the window remains a window!  :)

My impression of the company is they are interested in engineering and willing to take on new beryllium solutions.
