Dear George,
Now we know that we can use Ga target. As you say, there could be many reasons for
the discrepancy. An obvious ones to me are the alignment error, amount of target material,
assumed purity of the target, etc.

Let me take the opportunity to say how impressed I am with you for the relentless effort
you put in to make this test happen. After being turned away from one hall and then the
other, you persisted, carried out simulations and the test plans and more. Thanks to Kevin
for making things happen at lightening speed.

The first look at the gallium activation test suggests that we produced ~4500 Bq of Cu-67.
Irradiation was done using 18.5 MeV beam on 1mm W radiator for 1 hour at average current of 2.5 microA, or 46 W-h. We had predicted 7000 Bq production in a 50 W-h irradiation. There are several differences between the model and irradiation, so I need to rerun the model and do a little more detailed analysis of the sample.
More to follow during the next couple of days.
