Thanks for clarifying. We will take out the animal research and other application experiments from our narrative. We will also modify the budget and justifications, but will keep the total amount same as before (or close to that).

Program officer asked us not to miss the deadline this time!
I talked with both Dennis Phillips and Ethan Balkin. They were
both present at the same time.
They told me that due to congressional rules, no applications of
the isotopes are to be conducted during this R&D. Strictly stick to
radiochemistry, analysis, yields etc. It is fine to use the isotope
after this R&D has been done for tests under other funding and
proposals. But, this proposal should strictly adhere to its intent.
i.e. pave a path for reliable supply.
