[Isotope-prod] 5kWatt run is underway!

Dear Team,

We began the 34 hour, 5kWatt irradiation today on 60 grams of naturally occurring gallium, 99.9995% pure, in a graphite crucible at 13:15. All systems are nominal. Swing shift operator Eric said he has not had a single trip yet on his shift. The machine is performing very well.

There is some degradation of the photocathode Qe, but in speaking with Carlos we are optimistic & if not he has a plan.

The operation staff have done a great job running the machine - makes me jealous I can not hop in the seat anymore!
