[Isotope-prod] 5kW Crucible Inspection

Andrew,
I did increase the 1X quad to try to bring in the horizontal size of the beam. The window pattern indicated I overdid it. The YAG screen indicated a slightly elongated spot but I think the spot was not a good representation of what was going through the window. The spot at the 1X viewer was elongated in the horizontal direction. I think that a quad setting about half of what was used would have been better. The spot might have also been too small for the tungsten radiator considering the damage to it. In the future I would prefer to have the YAG viewer right at the window if we use this setup again.

How is the vacuum in the beamline? Has the leak closed up?
The picture of the beryllium window indicates that the beam spot was elongated, not round, were there changes to the upstream quad(s) after the spot was centered and checked on the screen?
Lots of questions!
Adam, Dave, thanks for the photos

All,
David and I just complete the inspection of the crucble following the 5kW irradiation. The maximum whole-body dose rates were 25-30 mR/hr and the maximum on-contact dose rates were 250-650 mR/hr; therefore, we were able to also obtain picture of the beryllium window. I have added a folder in the Isotope Production site with photos: [https://outlook-2.cdn.office.net/assets/mail/file-icon/png/folder_16x16.png] 5kW_InspectionPhotos<https://jeffersonlab.sharepoint.com/:f:/r/sites/IsotopeProductionDocuments/Shared%20Documents/Photos/5kW_InspectionPhotos?csf=1&web=1&e=nmFM91> , but I am including a few of the better images.
