I am hoping we will begin to have some answers to those questions on
Friday and that will be able to better define the scope of what you
will write about.
Hi George,

In the beginning we (George Kharashvili and myself) were trying to
cover different isotopes / parent targets / energies / possible
target arrangements. Do you think all of that needs to be included
in the report.

For example, should we discuss Th-230 target, or it's beyond our
reach. If we could find 500g of Th-230, I believe we'd prefer to
use it, and wouldn't try to optimize and design the system for
Ra-226 target. Otherwise, development and optimization of Radium
target setup should be done in more detail and we should forget
about Th-230.

Similar situation with Cu-67 isotope production. Should we list
all the options, including production from Zinc targets, and beam
energy optimizations for different possible engineering solutions?

Any hint on the importance / market value of Lu-177. Should we
consider its production from Hafnium.

If we start writing now, it seems it will be not a proposal for
the isotope production for the market, -- but for isotope
production R&D -- and I guess we should avoid that. Could we
try to develop a consensus limiting our options.

Regards,
are a month and a week away from producing our final report.
Please start summarizing your results into a coherent WRITTEN
package. I have produced a DRAFT outline of the final report
with a description of what I expect to see in each section.
There are writing assignments for the lead of each section.
Feel free to draw on others to produce that section but it is
your responsibility to see that it gets done. Remember that we
expect to assemble the complete package the first week of
December so your section needs to be done before then (and I
will be relying on some of your numbers to produce the final
story as to viability so I have to see your story before I can
write my section). Please review the outline; get back to me
with any suggested changes and, most of all, start writing!
