We have concluded that we have a viable process for producing Cu67 at a cost of <span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12pt;" class="">$3.1K/mCi based on 10 runs per year, including onetime
costs. Our method is based on a </span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12pt;" class="">(γ, n) reaction starting from Gallium as the target material. We believe that the chemical separation of Cu67 should provide a significantly higher specific activity than other production methods. </span></div><div class=""><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12pt;" class=""><br class=""></span></div><div class=""><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12pt;" class="">Our collaboration with VCU and SDSMT has been very effective and we look forward to continuing our work together.
