I also remember having pitched support for these JLab developments at DOE ONP and later George told me that FEL was not available. As some of you know we had a meeting in Governors Office and requested funding for building a radioisotope development center at a place that is now past becoming Tech Center. Professors Zamal Zweit and Doug Wells are the key players I brought into this exciting partnership in particular for Cu77 developments.<br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8728">I am very proud of many of my out of the box initiatives that are slowly becoming main stream after several decades; the issue of hydrogen in SRF cavities, ion pump related problems in linacs, proper torquing of cryomodule seals, the application of ingot niobium technology to discovery science programs and new nuclear energy ADS systems. My present focus is to scientifically update the specifications of niobium for SRF cavities. Special TTC2018 sessions are now being organized by Akira at the next TTC2018 meeting in Japan June 26-29, 2018. Our goal is to implement low RRR ingot niobium technology for the next high performance SRF linacs at reduced cost.<br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8994">Thank you all for your kind understanding!</div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_9158">Ganapati<br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_9017"><br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8411"><span></span></div><div class="qtdSeparateBR" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8475"><br><br></div><div class="yahoo_quoted" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8531" style="display: block;"> <div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8530"> <div style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8529"> <div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8528"> <font id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8554" size="2" face="Arial"> <hr id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8922" size="1"> <b><span style="font-weight:bold;">From:</span></b> Michael Spata <spata@jlab.org><br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">To:</span></b> Andrew Hutton <andrew@jlab.org> <br><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Cc:</span></b> Todd Satogata <satogata@jlab.org>; Isotope-Prod <Isotope-prod@jlab.org>; Kelly Webster <hanifan@jlab.org>; Henderson Stuart <stuart@jlab.org><br> <b id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_9889"><span style="font-weight: bold;" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_9888">Sent:</span></b> Tuesday, May 22, 2018 8:06 AM<br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Subject:</span></b> Re: [Isotope-prod] Telephone discussion with DOE-ONP Isotope program managers<br> </font> </div> <div class="y_msg_container" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8555"><br><div id="yiv9804720394"><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8558"><div style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;color:#000000;" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8557"><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1526996576268_8556"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Good morning,</span><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Just for completeness we are referring to the attached proposal. We were told to expect the first year's funding to arrive as early as June. VCU funding will be sent directly to them through Chicago office but may take a few months.
