[Jef] Draft of the FCAL section

Hi Tim,
The size of the inert in the JEF proposal is
50 x 50 modules. Rolf "promised" to support
at least 1600 crystals. Liping applied for the
NSF grant to get extra money. We expect to
hear from the NSF by the end of this summer.
I would wait for the NSF response. If it's positive,
we can design 50x50.
Please take a look on the construction table.
I assume that we need 1 month to modify the
FCAL frame after the FCAL is disassembled
(we'll start assembling modules back after that).
Is this time realistic ?
Thanks,
Sasha

Hi Sasha,
I have read the attachments and have a question;
You state a 50x50 crystal insert. Currently we are only considering 40x40 or 35x35. Should we be designing to this?
Thanks,

Dear all,
Here is a draft of the FCAL construction section for the JEF PAC section.
Your suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Sasha
Dear JEF friends,
We are preparing an update for PAC jeopardy review. Attached file is the updated physics. Your comments and suggestions by this Friday are highly appreciated.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Liping
