Subject: Snowmass Rare & Precision Frontier Townhall meeting, 2 October 2020
Dear colleagues,
thank you for submitting a Snowmass Letter of Interest to the RF2
working group ("Weak decays of strange and light quarks"), and thanks to
those of you who have agreed to present the LoIs at the forthcoming
Snowmass Rare & Precision Frontier Townhall meeting on 2nd October 2020.
The Indico page of the meeting is available here:

The workshop will take place over Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to all
registered participants by e-mail before the start of the meeting,
therefore please do register for the meeting if you plan to attend.
The meeting consists of a plenary session in the morning (US Eastern
time), followed by parallel sessions for each topical group in the
afternoon, and will be conclude by a round table.
A preliminary timetable of the RF2 parallel session is available here:
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__nam05.safelinks.protection.outlook.com_-3Furl-3Dhttps-253A-252F-252Findico.fnal.gov-252Fevent-252F45713-252Fsessions-252F16417-252F-252320201002-26amp-3Bdata-3D01-257C01-257Cganl-2540uncw.edu-257Caf23210093fd4ec5c9d408d862c62fdb-257C2213678197534c75af2868a078871ebf-257C1-26amp-3Bsdata-3DnJDd9B1X8i8hPTeWGQ5rYecbBBeUavcsVPu4DmszBq8-253D-26amp-3Breserved-3D0&d=DwIFAw&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=JOJ62NEwwkI7R0M2R59fbQ&m=BDC-QBdWVe_W9jU2QWtV2mSUHduc_M9ZehB9EggbN4c&s=ml8Qh-k_msdBaX7RguTLwKAO_pQYxaPIaMpsMklbOZ4&e=
The main topics to be discussed at the RF2 session are future plans in
eta, kaon, hyperon and pion decay studies, and 1st row CKM unitary tests.
There is at present a probability that the parallel sessions will start
somewhat earlier than 12.50 Eastern time currently indicated; I will
inform you asap if this turns out to be the case.
Can we please ask the speakers to check:
1) if the time slot allocated for the talk is convenient;
2) if the title of the talk are correct (we have used/synthesized the
titles of the LoIs in many cases);
3) if you are able to upload material on Indico (a Fermilab Indico
account with a matching email address is probably required for this;
that's easy to create; alternatively you could email your slides to us
before the start of the session).
Please contact us about any issues listed (and not listed) above.
Could we also ask you to forward this email (addressed to the
corresponding authors of the LoIs and speakers) to the co-authors of the
LoIs, and any colleagues who may be interested in attending the meeting.
Thank you. We look forward to a fruitful workshop.
Best regards,
Emilie Passemar and Evgueni Goudzovski (RF2 conveners)
