sorry for the unclear statements. Here, somewhat improved:<br>

I do not know when exactly the travel ban USA->EU will be lifted.
However, according to the New York Times, it was said that it might
be during summer, for travelers with proof of vaccination. <br>
<br>
Presently, Germany is in a number-dependent lock down until end of
June. Wherever the numbers are 'bad', the lock down is in place.
Restaurants are closed, at most open for pickup/delivery. Actually
everything has pretty much been closed, hotels, too. And we have a
nightly curfew. At this point, all have to follow the rules,
vaccinated or not. Due to the fact that the vaccination campaign has
finally picked up, there is hope that the lock down can be
softened/ended some time this year. <br>
<br>
Currently, there is still the travel ban EU->USA in place, since
ca March 2020 (when I had to leave). Thats what I mean by mutual. I
guess there is one difference though, as opposed to the US, in the
EU they do expect that most people want to be inoculated... <br>
<br>
You should be able to check on the status of the USA->EU travel
via an airline or travel site!<br>
