When I sent out my email this morning it was based on my understanding the we had never documented how to handle one team winning two of the thirds.

That scenario is documented at the bottom of the League Schedule web page:

Winner for each round with no duplicates (if same team from earlier round wins again the next ranked team will be used in the following round and the final three teams will be ordered by  total round points (ties broken by adding all three round totals)

So the playoffs will be:

September 17th - Team #7 -Unknowns vs Team #3 - Tee'd Off

September 24th - Winner from the 17th vs Team #6 - Golfing Mikes
