A few players got to witness an Eagle on the Cardinal #6 on Monday.
Actually it was Phil Adderley chipping in from the bunker.
Congratulations to Phil on getting the first (maybe only) eagle of the year.

Just a reminder, it's important to have good communication when it's time to record the scores.
The player must announce their score, and the scorekeeper should repeat it before writing it down.
If the player is the scorekeeper, they must announce their score to someone. If there's a discrepancy,
it needs to be resolved before starting the next hole. If the scorekeeper hears and repeats the correct score,
but writes down the wrong score, it might not get changed on the official scorecard. What gets turned-in is considered
official scores, so starting next Monday, start announcing your scores as numbered strokes (1-10, or X) to the scorekeeper,
and stop using other jargon such as: -1, +2, birdie, single, double, etc...
