Yesterday, the 2015 Kick-Off Event was held on the Cardinal Course.
It turned out to be a nice day, and the course was playable with carts allowed to scatter.
Out of the 16 players participating in this years event, half showed signs of mid-season form.
After the scores were turned in, groups of 2 were paired up to vie for free or reduced league fees.
A Closest to the Pin contest was also available on #5 that was worth $10, which was won by Mark Ito.

The 1st Place group earned free dues for the season.
2nd Place receives $10 credit each, and 3rd Place gets $5 each.

1st Place (43) ---- Phil Kessler and Mac Mestayer.
2nd Place (44) ---- Whit Seay and Wesley Moore.
3rd Place (47) ---- Lee Broeker and Phil Adderley.

Congratulations to all the winners.

As a reminder, the regular season starts next Monday (April 6th).
Mike has posted a few up-to-date links on the golf web page.
You can view the season schedule, current handicaps, and a team/player page.

For those that have a 0 handicap listed means you are a scratch golfer,
or someone that still needs to turn-in some score(s) to Mike.

Everyone also needs to pay any league dues owed before you can play.

Handicaps and dues are due before you can play in a match.
Phil Adderley is our Banker located in the TED, and your team captain can also collect.

Team captains should have at least Monday's lineup ready to submit to Mike on Thursday of THIS week.
Teams should also have subs lined up just in case they are needed. If a sub is needed from another team,
an email will sent out by the captain or their alternate. Players that need a sub MUST contact their captain.

Note: For those that want to change (Tee Boxes) will need to announce so before Monday. Once you start a match from whatever color,
that's where you'll play from for the season. I played from the Blues yesterday, and was singing the Blues, but I'm going to stick with them!
Anyone else up for the challenge?

So get those scores in, pay your dues, get out and swing some clubs, and get ready for a fun season...
