Hello Golfers, 

Just sending a repeat of what I sent earlier. Please spread the word to any and all that are not on the standard email list. Especially those outside 
the lab who typically play in the tournament. If you are planning on playing send Wes and I a quick email so we can start populating the spreadsheet 
of players. If you already have a foursome even better. I'll be putting this in the briefs next week as well.

We are pleased to announce the 2017 Fall Golf Tournament! 



This year's event will be held on Friday, October 13th, at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club (Green Course) located at 651 South England St, Williamsburg, Va. 



The tourney will kick off at 12:00 PM with a shotgun start. Golfers should arrive early to warm-up on the driving range and practice green as well as to purchase mulligans which will be sold at the course (four for $10). 

The format will be a handicapped Captains Choice with (2) Flights. 

Your foursome must include at least two Jefferson Lab employees. The cost for Jefferson Lab employees (you qualify if you receive a paycheck from JSA - Jefferson Science Associates, LLC) is $65. The cost for non-JLAB employees is $80. The cost includes range balls, greens fees, cart fees, food after the tournament and prizes. 

Directions to the course from Jefferson Lab: 
>From Interstate 64, take Exit 242A onto Route 199 West. Follow Route 199 West and take the exit for the Colonial Parkway. Turn right onto the Colonial Parkway towards Williamsburg. Take the Newport Avenue exit. Turn left at the stop sign onto Newport Avenue. Turn right onto South England Street. Continue one mile on South England Street and turn left at the entrance for the Golden Horseshoe Green Course. Follow the entry road to the bag drop area. 

Contact Mike Spata ( spata at jlab.org , x7497) or Wes Moore ( wmoore at jlab.org , X6033) to sign up. When you register you must list your average score for 18 holes or current handicap. Please make checks payable to Mike Spata and deliver to ARC 702. 

The deadline for registering for the tournament is Monday, October 9.
