Golfers, 

I wanted to thank everyone for reacting to my late news that the Cardinal course would be closed. 

We sent all 32 golfers off the Deer Run course. We were able to get half of the matches started before 
our nominal start of 4:00 which is just we needed to do to get all of the matches completed. I was in the last 
group and we were able to get back to the clubhouse by 7:10. 

Thanks again for all of your effort to get the matches completed. I'm sorry I missed the aeration schedule. 

Other news: I have started to get commitments for the 2017 Fall Tournament. The broad announcement will 
be in the briefs as well as cycling on the SWIS system this week. Spread the word and send me an email if 
you are planning on playing.
