[jlab-9hgl 01307] Golf Season 2018 Kick-Off Event on Monday

Folks,

Remember that this coming Monday, April 2, we will have our Kick-Off 
event. We have 18 of the 20 slots filled. Find the list of participants 
at https://tinyurl.com/y8l9vnha . If you would like to play, just enter 
your name on the list.

Although we are playing the event on the Cardinal, at present we are 
holding tee times on the Deer Run just as we do for regular league play. 
Let me or Mike or Wes know if you are interested in using them (for 
non-kick-off-event play). If there is no interest in Deer Run play, we 
will cancel those tee times.

Some details:

 1. The event will be held Monday, April 2.
 2. We are playing the front nine of the Cardinal course.
 3. Tee times start at 4 pm. We have five of them on the Cardinal.
 4. We will not have pre-assigned foursomes or pre-assigned tee times.
    Please form foursomes at the course or before you arrive. With this
    number of players we need folks to go out in foursomes.
 5. The first group needs to grab the closest-to-the-pin marker from the
    starter. If the starter does not have it track me down.
 6. The fifth hole is the closest-to-the-pin hole. The first group needs
    to leave the marker on the green there!
 7. The last group needs to pick up the closest-to-the-pin marker and
    (a) give the card to me. and (b) return the marker to the clubhouse.
 8. Please give your scorecards to me, or scan and email them to me
    (marki at jlab.org).
 9. Have fun and hit 'em straight.
